Microbial Changes Precipitate a Crohn’s Relapse

Changes in the microbiota of a person with Crohn’s disease during remission may predict a recurrence of symptoms, researchers have found. The results support the view that microbial dysbiosis can trigger Crohn’s rather than simply reflect the effect of the disease activity.
